Substrate Preparation

• The substrate must be level, cured, undamaged, compact, rigid, and dry.
• Free from any debonding agent and from rising damp.
• New concrete slabs must be damp cured & 28 days old to ensure minimal shrinkage.
• Dampen dusty surfaces with water; sweep off all excess before starting.

Mixing & Precision

• Mix Ratio: 5.5 – 6.5 Liters of water per 20kg powder bag.
• Use mechanical stirrer (50-100 rpm) for a lump-free homogeneous paste.
• Let the mixture stand for 5 minutes (maturation) before application.
• Only mix quantity that can be applied within the pot life.

Precautions

• Important: Always add powder into water, never water into powder.
• Do not add extra sand or cement at the site.
• Protect applied tiles from rain and traffic for 24 hours.
• For large tiles: Use “back-buttering” method to ensure 100% adhesive contact.

Tile Grout (Cement)
